The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has published the preliminary timetable for the 2025 Class X and XII public examinations in Panaji. The schedule reveals that the Class XII exam is expected to take place from February 1 to 15, 2025, while the Class X exam is scheduled for March 1 to 20. In response to the increasing temperatures caused by global warming, the board has decided to shift the exam dates earlier by about 28 days starting in 2025. This decision was made following reports of students experiencing discomfort due to heat during the 2024 board exams. By advancing the exam schedule, all exams will be completed before March 31, with results expected to be announced by the end of April. This adjustment is aligned with national timelines and brings the Goa board in line with other central and state boards.
